Delete Your Account & Data

1. Overview

You can delete your SUBLAKE account and its data at any time — directly inside the app, or by emailing us. Deleting your workspace removes access immediately and permanently erases your data after a short recovery grace period. There is no charge to delete your account.

2. Delete Your Account In the App

The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is from within SUBLAKE:

1. Sign in to SUBLAKE (in the app or at sublake.com).
2. Go to Settings → Account.
3. Open the Danger Zone and choose Delete workspace.
4. Confirm by typing your workspace name exactly, then confirm the deletion.

As soon as you confirm, access to the workspace is blocked and any active subscription is cancelled. Your data is then held for a 30-day recovery grace period (in case the deletion was a mistake and you contact us to restore it), after which it is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

3. Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot sign in, or prefer that we process the deletion for you, email contact@sublake.com from the email address on your account with the subject line “Delete my account”. To help us verify your request, include the business/workspace name on the account. We will confirm your identity, process the deletion, and email you when it is complete — normally within 30 days.

4. What Is Deleted & What Is Kept

Permanently deleted when the grace period ends:

• Your profile and account details (name, email, phone).
• Your contacts, conversations, messages, calls, appointments, and notes.
• Your business profile, settings, and any connected phone number (the number is released back to the carrier).
• Uploaded files and media associated with the workspace.

Retained only where required by law or for security/fraud prevention:

• Limited billing and transaction records required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance, retained for the period required by applicable law. Card details are never stored by SUBLAKE — payments are processed by Stripe.
• Minimal, de-identified security and audit records (with your workspace identifier removed) kept as proof that the erasure was carried out.

5. Export Your Data First

Deletion is irreversible after the grace period, so export anything you want to keep first. In SUBLAKE, go to Settings → Account → Export data (or Billing) to download a copy of your workspace data. You will receive a secure download link by email.

6. Deleting Some Data Without Closing Your Account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific data. Inside the app you can delete individual contacts, conversations, and messages. To request removal of specific personal data while keeping your account open, email contact@sublake.com and we will assist.
